The Jaguar is based on fauna captivity, but talking as if hes verbalism down on the animals and experiencing what theyre doing. Good poets teach lessons slightly life not only by what they say but by how th ey say it by anonymous. This quote applies so exhaustively to Ted Hughess poems, and in this case its certain that Ted Hughes is a good poet. A poem that particularly stood out to me is a ballad on the theme of war, the sadness of such untried soldiers losing their lives fighting for their country.
